ACLU: Indiana Law Examiners Can’t Ask About Mental Illness

The American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana has launched a class action lawsuit against the Indiana Board of Law Examiners, alleging that investigating the mental health history of law license applicants violates the Americans with Disabilities Act. The ACLU is representing an anonymous woman who seeks an injunction prohibiting the BLE from asking certain questions about mental fitness.
